On January 12th, me, Nikki&theMongo, Rob Wigfall, Kemtrell, Antonio Maristela, 1019, Jason Bang, ZeeOhDee (on the hook, goodlookin out ), Rich Baker, Chris Mosher, Andy Lowe, my man Tom Hicks, Odessa Kane (http://odessakane.bandcamp.com/) , Eivella Vela, Teryn Stanley, Piff Herrera (piffpch.bandcamp.com), J-Treel of Day-Go Produce (http://daygoproduce.bandcamp.com/) and Luke Henshaw brought a studio to the 5th story of an SDSU parking structure. We mic'd: a stand-up bass (Jordan Salazar), a keyboard (the infamous Bobby Creesey) and a drumset (jazz genius Nathan Hubbard) to record this on-the-spot "Hubbard Trio Remix". We did it in four takes for a crowd of 40 of the livest cats ever on a Sunday nite, which was both gift and curse because it was 7pm and we were filming an illegal rapshow on a college campus without permits.
